Hey all! I'm Tess! I'm a (mostly) self-taught artist, and I'm trying to get into either games or comics! I pick up skills fast, and I like to be challenged!

My capabilities: I can do illustration, pixel art, 3D models, & textures! (I'm familiar with programs like Blender, Clip Studio Paint, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Aseprite.)

My limitations: I'm not great at rigging, my 2d animation experience is fairly limited, and my 3D animation experience is nonexistent.

Past Work: My current project is a TTRPG called para-phoria! You can check that out on my Itch page right now! Previously, I worked on a Second Life store called Undergrowth! https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/165225 (For the catsuits in the Undergrowth store, I didn't make the 3D bodies, but I did make the 2D textures applied to them!)

If you would like to contact me, my Discord name is vespertineantess

Misc. 3D Art:

Second Life assets:

More illustrations:

Isometric art experiments:

RPG Maker experiments:

Hey Tess, Edo here. I saw your portfolio. I work in tech (CSM) by day, but I'm currently building a passio project an  hyper-realistic, open-ended survival sim set in Iron Age Rome. Think Rimworld, but significantly grittier and deeply simulated. I am mixing both my deep tech knowledge/passion to create something I would love to play and I cannot find around.   I don't need complex 3D rigging or fluid animations (which I saw you listed as limitations). What I do need is an artist who can nail the gritty, realistic isometric visuals and texture work to ground the simulation. Your isometric experience look like close to what I need to make this work.  If working on an unapologetically raw, highly technical historical sim is something you'd be into, let me know. I'd love to discuss your rates and availability.
