This plays really well for an N64 game! The procgen is a cool detail that adds a lot of replay value, even if I got difficulty spiked at the final hole. I ran into a quite literal one in the form of a windmill wall... ^.^;

Aside from that, it plays really well and feels like a genuine N64 game for its scale. It's incredible that you're trying these console formats - and it was well worth trying out Ares for this one!

It seems like it's a new course every time, but I wish it was possible to select stage manually for practice and fun: I am stubborn and get annoyed when I reach the pick-up limit and would have loved to be able to play a stage over and over until I got a good score. The randomized courses also make it a bit meaningless to compare scores with other players.

Best score so far is -14, but it feels like a meaningless metric due to the random courses. Also, one of the stages has a bug where the area below the mountain is set to "rough" and doesn't blow up Tewi.

That 8BitDo N64 controller I got months ago was made for this moment.

With it, I can quickly hit Tewi into the pools of water everytime.

This game's incredible. To any onlookers, do not let the step of installing an emulator deter you. It's well worth it.
