I think ive played a game with a similar mechanic, i mean even agar.io is similar by being able to split. But i just find it to be such an interesting mechanic for puzzles!
Nice work :)

Clever idea and nice execution on the puzzles!

Everything worked well and I made it to the end. Nice job!

Great game. It was a lot of fun throwing the little guys/blocks around to solve the puzzles. Amazing first game jam entry!

A nice fun puzzle platformer.  I would like to have the ability to recall specific units in the future without needing to directly control them.  I really like the idea and i could see this being explored on in the future.

Thank you! I was actually planning a feature like that, but I couldn't get it working the way I wanted and I was running out of time so I scrapped it

nice take on the theme, i think some polish would do this game alot, but overall it was fun!

Thank you! It's definitely lacking a lot of polish, I mismanaged my time a bit and was honestly pretty worried I wouldn't be able to get anything submitted at all so I ended up cutting some corners in the short term which ended up biting me in the butt later

I really like this! Its a super unique concept that I havent seen before and really on theme :)

All it needs is some sound! There was a bug with moving the big cardboard box at the start if moved the opposite direction first, causing it to be stuck, so i had to restart but other than that no other issues.

This is your first game jam? Really impressive work I could see this being a full game, I completed it!

Thank you! It's the first game jam I've actually finished and submitted.
