Scale is the ENTIRE mechanic, not just a visual detail. Every few seconds, a random modifier hits: gravity gets heavier or lighter, the player character grows or shrinks, the camera zooms in or out, or the world flips horizontally (literally a negative scale transform on the camera). The whole game is built around the idea of scale constantly any scale in every sense of the word: size, gravity, and perspective.
