Sorry I can't rate the game because I couldn't figure out how to set it up correctly. I didn't see any instructions after clicking download. It's probably me, I don't actually know Godot very well, I just did the art for our submission.
It sounded interesting though, I haven't seen any text-based games in the jam yet. Certainly not ones that run in the editor lol. What a cool idea!
I moved the setup instructions to the page description. I'm not sure why they're not showing up otherwise. Let me know if it helps!
Yes, thank you! Def my bad, I didn't understand that I needed to create a 'Game' resource.
That's so cool, I love it!!
I expect the full version to have beautiful ascii art and a 500 hour story. lmk when its done haha
Lol, this is definitely just a toy project, but it would be interesting to try and build something more fleshed out!
I needed to first figure out that I need to do my own project and then put the files inside. Maybe sending the full project with project file would have made it easier. Or just having instruction how to get the game to godot.
After I got to play I must admit I had suprisinly fun playing the game. And the game is playable from the editor itself. As a consept it was great idea.
I think the setup instructions show right after clicking the download button, but they're probably pretty easy to miss...
Glad you got it figured out!
As a game, it's not the most in depth, but I recognize that that is not the point and the fact that this even works at all is insane, love that you chose to do a thought experiment for a game.
Strangest concept of all time. Pretty funny though.
