I enjoyed the game, but it was way too easy. I easily got more resources than what I needed very quickly and make it to the final level pretty quickly.

I think you could adjust the balance to benefit the playability. Also, consider adding some sound effects & music. It would give it a nice ambiance.

Great job!

I like the concept of the game, draining universes of resources to progress is a pretty cool theme. It seems a bit abstract though in that, it's not really clear why we are hopping forward I guess. I did like how at the top it was saying things like "Will the next planet have sentient life?" and "Consider stopping.", there is a lot of potential to explore this kind of thing for sure.

Also it took me like 90 seconds of staring at the screen after launching the game before I felt prepared to click anything, because I had no idea what I was looking at. Since there's no tutorial, I highly recommend updating the game's itch page with a bit of info about what the player is supposed to do and such

Thank you for playing!

Also thank you for the tutorial suggestion! I'll add some info to the page.

Very on-theme and quite unique as a game. I have to say I'm a bit confused why "reach universe #22" is the goal, when the fun part is trying to wipe a universe clean rather than travel to the next. Also, it seems that with fully upgraded inventions, they don't activate a second time if they activate before you've found everything in that universe. It felt overwhelming at the start, but after a couple of minutes playing you quickly get into the groove of things, nice job!

Hello, thanks for playing.

Universe 22 is the goal because I wanted a  short game.

The shortest and maybe the most fun path is to extract what you need from every universe.

The slightly longer and boring path is to jump into the next universe ASAP, preferably without destroying anything.

I intended to have various entities speak to you depending on your actions (ex: destroying a lot of planets / jumping around without doing much damage) to add a bit of narrative and replayability. But I have added only one. It should make you think about the possibility that you're wiping out planets with life on them.

Also the universe map is a bit too cluttered and it doesn't really show that you are wiping out the universe. It should have more "gravitas".

As for the fully upgraded inventions not working properly, it's a bug :( . The whole system needs an overhaul, maybe when I have time.
