I like the premise of this game and am wondering where this would have gone further with finding more buttons. It took some time to figure out the combat mechanics but they make sense once you get into it. good job on this one!

I love the missing buttons mechanic, nice game!

This was a fun little game, I like the combat. I also really liked the sound effect of the button clicking, so satisfying.

Reallyl awesome idea! Took a minute to figure out, but once it clicked, really rewarding for such a small game, well  paced. Great stuff

really cool mechanic! good pacing too, i thought it was a play on "buttonmasher" where i would only have one button juuuuuuuuust long enough to get excited when i unlocked the second button. nice work!

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it!

Thank you for the take on the pacing.

A fun experience throughout! It helped a bit for the fourth fight when I realized you could block multiple times. I can only imagine what you would have been able to do if you had the full nine days!

Developer(+1)

Very glad you liked it! I will definietly expand on this game in some tim

DUCK, but i hope the end is actually the end, I loved your game mechanic, the last one was though, I managed to kill him staying at the bottom for a long time, hit only once per round etc... also it reminds me of this mobile rpg where you progressively get better graphics. You can make a game alone of this fighting system, really cool!

Developer

Very happy you liked the game and the fighting system!

Big respect for the DUCK!

This was an interesting combat system and fun little game. I like the sound effects you used, and figuring out the logic to defeat the 4th warrior was fun.

Developer

The combat system turned out to be a kind of a puzzle haha. Glad you liked it.

The 4th warrior is the only one that I think poses a reasonable challenge, although unfortunately there is an unintended easy way to defeat them.

But it's good to hear that it turned out to be some fun

Very interesting concept, and I reaaaally liked the clicky-ness of all the buttons, very satisfying. Also creative use of the space on the side of the game to put the buttons, and having it mix with the BG of the game page! Very good job, and would love to see it developed more in the future!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Glad you liked it!

The game page with the buttons would have looked much better if not for the button outlines not appearing fully in the web build. Now they are just awkward gray squares.

I have the concept and some ideas that I was not able to realise in this timeframe still fresh in my head, so I think I will start implementing them quite soon!

cool concept! the 4th guy is hard!

Love the idea of the collecting the buttons. The clicky sounds were very satisfying .

Developer(+1)

Yeah, that was basically the premise. I'm glad you liked it!

For the sounds I actually recorded myself clicking buttons on a ps3 controller haha
