the game is kinda clunky. I felt the player was too slow and moving my mouse was kinda weird and not smooth. I see some similarities with Mirror's edge, so that's cool. sadly I didn't manage to complete the game because of the clunkiness, however those games are always fun when their movements are fluid and fast, so if you focus on that, you should have something cool

Love the graphics, love the audio, love the wallrun mechanic (unless it's something that glitched on my side as I think I only managed to do it twice?). Pretty original idea as well, I had fun :) The mouse movement of camera somehow worked better for me in full screen I think.

Thanks, and sorry to hear you had difficulties wall running. Did you manage to complete the map? As wall running is pretty important for the game's movement. Also yeah the mouse on the web build does seem to behave weird sensitivity wise.

I didn't, but I will try once again after trying and reviewing some other games, keeping eye on this one :)

Love the game feel, I think it quite close to Mirror's Edge, which is great! Falling was scary, running the walls was fantastic.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it!

I love free running games and enjoyed my time here. I'm impressed with what you were able to do with the limited time and resources!

Developer

Thanks! It was definitely a challenge lol.

Love the visuals and celshaded-esque style! The mouse was a little too sensitive for my taste so I kept getting turned around. Might just be user-error though. Also liked the throwbacks to the early internet with the signs and stuff. Would definitely plummet to my untimely demise again!

Developer

The mouse thing is oddly only on the web build from what I can tell. Idk if its because mouse movement is calculated differently in the browser vs in a window. I sadly didnt have enough time to fix it. But glad you enjoyed the references and visuals lol!

Hey, I love the idea what you were going for, and I can see the underlying mechanics definitely there! The running did feel a bit slow, so I'd say crank up the movement speed a tiny bit and maybe make actions like mantling a ledge a little faster.

Even if you didn't get to finish the story you were going for for the jam, I'd say keep at it and develop it more, its a cool idea!

Developer

Thanks me an my jam partner were thinking of continuing as we both like the idea we had. And yeah I can see how it can feel a little slow. The map scale did change with the last iteration and I forgot to update the speed to adjust lol. Thanks for giving it a shot!
