controls were way too frustrating given the inability to jump while moving forward properly

Great game. I managed to get to the part where ghosts roam the tentacle field—I just couldn't kill all the tentacles while dodging the ghosts. I would suggest adding coyote time. It feels really bad to die when you press W and D almost simultaneously, but the character doesn't jump because they've already walked off the platform.

cool game..pretty fun..but it got little hard for dummy  like me..good work though!!

I liked it; I spent quite a while playing and it's really cool, though I didn't finish it because it was stressful, lol.

Good platformer, but it got very frustrating after getting pistol. It felt like I had to brute force my way by dying a lot to destroy tentacles/monsters, then respawning not so close and going back to die again just to shoot the tentacle. I got to the yellow level. Music is good! 

This is a pretty standard cool platformer where you can also shoot! it is very ragebaity given that the collision are not that forgiving but hey I made it to the yellow level. I think this game jsut needs polishing and it will be perfect. Keep it up!
