Godot Version
4.6.2
Theme Interpretation
I used a strict color palette with pixel art graphics and lo-fi sounds. The gameplay is loosely based on Super Mario Bros.

I love how the gameplay flows, the mechanics nicely complement each other and make a really enjoyable experience. The difficulty only makes it more satisfying when you can pull off a cool sequence of moves.
I like the minimalist tileset and the grapple mechanic is a cool thing for a mummy to have. The bounce was cool too, I like how it seemed to be based on the height of the drop.
I'm not good at these types of games but everything played really well! I saw your comment about no jump buffering or coyote time, which made me feel a little better about myself haha
Great game. It gets too punishing too fast and the controls are a little unconfortable but otherwise a excellent game.
Awesome concept done really well! Re-binding controls wouldn've been helpful as I felt the defaults felt a bit clunk to perform and flow, even with the great gameplay. Stellar job
I really like the grappling hook mechanic (which reminds me a lot of Celeste 2 - was that an inspiration?), and how well it pairs up with diving. As has been mentioned, I would make to have been able to play it in fullscreen, and to rebind the controls. The artstyle is neat, as is the music, although I feel it clashes a bit with the lo-fi sound effects.
I like the bounce mechanic!
This is a really cool idea for a platformer. I feel like maybe there needs to be 1 or 2 extra frames of lenience for getting certain jumps or grapples. I think getting the jump out of a grapple is frame perfect right now? or close to it...
Yeah I forgot to include jump buffering and coyote time :(
You should be able to jump at any point during the grapple pull phase though.
Felt amazing to play! I just wish there was an indicator for when you already used up the dive/grapple. Too many times did I die thinking I still had my dive/grapple XD. The last section was a bit of a difficulty spike, but I persevered! A bit of platformer qol would also be nice e.g. slightly more lenient dive/grapple hitboxes and such. Still, overall, I really enjoyed playing it!
Playing this made me feel like I was on my chromebook playing browser games instead of paying attention in science class. Could feel my inputs getting eaten occasionally, but the really nice art and fun mechanics 100% make up for that.
Loved it!
I found the grapple button to maybe not be the best choice for me. I would have loved the option to grapple with left click and dive with right click. But overall it's a super fun game with a lot of different obstacles and mechanics that force you to use your abilities in creative ways.
Fantastic jam submission!
I like the grappling and pound mechanic!
love the grapple mechanic, I think i need to come back to this with a controller though, it gets very difficult very fast on a keyboard
The controls were a little clunky in my opinion but the rest was good
I wish there was a fullscreen
