Super cute concept and the idea and story for the game is cool too! Had a lot of fun and was pleasantly surprised to be playing a rhythm game. Combat was fun and definitely took me a few tries to make it to the final performance. I do wish that each action could have varying tracks though. After having to heal and attack the same way every time it did get kind of repetitive so it would have been cool to have even longer attacks or variations that kept me on my toes. Lots of fun though and I'm sure that adding that with more time could expand upon the game and really add to it. For a first time game and working with the time limit, I think this is really fleshed out and polished! Very fun

Really fun idea, and an impressive concept to put together for a jam.

I liked the art, but felt it was a bit too disrespected by the shaders you were using, the scanline chromatic aberration one made my eyes strain after a while it would've been nice to have the option to disable it, so I could enjoy the art more too.

The combat gameplay was a complete surprise, I was not expecting a rhythm game! It was fun but quite tricky to get the hang of, and I think you might be being sabotaged a little in the web version by a slight audio latency? It felt like it wasn't quite accurate (but maybe I'm just bad lol). It also was sometimes a little unclear what the outcome of a round was, like I would attack the game tells me I'm doing 300 damage, the enemy is attacking and not guarding, but takes no damage.

Audio was great of course, would've been nice to have a little variation during the combat so you weren't always playing the same riff per action but I appreciate that is quite a lot of work for a jam game.

I completely stunk up the final performance haha, it was so fast! I hope the dogs hated it.

Great entry, especially for a first jam, keep it up!

really liked the pixel art, and also the option to play as many different cats, i think the fights are quit difficult tho, theyre keys which are quite far from each other, i think it would work better in a fnf type of style but i did get quite used to it, other than that, really appealing and enjoyable game!
