You find yourself aboard the Ark Obscura, an airship that houses a traveling carnival of mutants and monsters with fantastical abilities, forced to perform for a ravaged post-apocalyptic world that would have them exiled or lynched had they been found in any other circumstance.
So, who will you be in this carnival of the damned? Will you push them and their show to new heights in a seemingly futile attempt to make them more palatable to society, or will you destroy them from within? Make enemies, allies, and lovers among six major characters and their interwoven routes, in a choice-heavy gothic steampunk adventure where there are no right answers, and no one gets a wholly good end.
Hello! I'm a writer who taught himself to code, and I'm now looking for artists (character, background, UI) to collaborate with and breathe some life into an expansive visual novel before I release Act 1 on itch.io. I'm open to most styles. and I'm willing to collaborate on adjustments.
Now, if the concept isn't enough, I understand. It's ambitious, but I've already written and coded Act 1 which is well over 100,000 words of multi-pathed, multiple-choice madness that you can play for yourself if you think you'd like to be involved.
