I agree with it not being very challenging. During the Jam, I tried experimenting with a row of boulders following the player from above but it was either too easy to run away from or too difficult once it caught up. I may integrate other hazards as the player descends if I ever revisit this, thanks for the feedback.

Good run, I have the same problem, it seems two grid spacing doesnt give you enough time to anticipate the enemy, I have updated a three grid spacing for post jam which seems to work better.
