Theme Interpretation
The player has a timer that is their life span. If they are too old, they die. The game has retro visuals, audio and also point and click gameplay which could be seen as something old.

Pretty cool concept, and I like how ya'll implemented time as a resource! I think I would have benefited from having a little more time or easier way to see what items are interactable/what the current goal is (a little more handholding) but even without I thought the atmosphere and feeling of urgency made for a good gameplay experience! The art/creature are also really cool, great job!
It's amazing how much you achieved with such a tiny color palette. The navigation feels good, and I really liked the time-management mechanic.
However, the first playthrough can feel a bit unfair because your progress depends heavily on luck and on what you happen to discover. There doesn't seem to be much logic behind some of the decisions, so it may be worth adding clearer clues or a way for the player to make more informed choices.
Other than that, great work!
I like the direction this is heading! The art could use a bit of polish, but I really like the style and color palette. Glad to hear you're going to see it through to your original vision, I think it deserves it!
The game is already quite good! The artsyle is really cool and nice as well. The short lifetime and the roguelike gameplay made me think of Outer Wilds. Paired up with the puzzle concept, it'd be interesting how it will turn out later on!
I'm not into scary games, but I like the art style of this one. Good job!
Hi, I liked it. The only thing I kind of missed was the "idiot" button (highlighting clickable objects). Sometimes I found myself trying to find objects where there weren't any at all, but that's part of the fun
Definitely a good foundation for a game! Do you have plans to expand it after the game jam ends?
Yea, I will work on the game and update it after the jam ends so it matches the initial vision that we had.
Fun short experience! Love the art style. I really like the atmosphere too. (Maybe he just wants to be friends, I wanna hang out with him.)
I liked the idea! Visually, it also looks amazing. Maybe the real thing looming in the distance was scope creep
The scope for the game was actually fairly small. The issue was that there was no real finished plan for the game for the first 5/6 days, so almost no progress was made until the last few days of the jam.
There isn't much but what there is is fairly solid, enjoyed the monochrome look, and the location/lab was bigger than I'd expected
