Art and Sound are really good. The thunder revealing the entity was nicely executed.
Thanks! I made the music myself and the rain is from the wonderful BBC sound archives: https://sound-effects.bbcrewind.co.uk/
I loved it! Great use of colour and shadow to build tension, and I love the scoring against everyone who's played it.
Amazing game! It reminds me of the shockwave level in Inside, but more fun and definitely less frustrating.
I managed to get #2 in the whole game yeah.
The difficulty is not scaling. I hope there are more unique shadows while the environment is roaming.
Like the CRT shader. It is not so distracting.
Wow, #2 is remarkable. I can't do that well, and I wrote the game!
The scrolling speed increases the longer you play, so you need to be quicker with your movement. It's harder to stay in the shadows.
My original plan was for a series of "biomes" and maybe a "final boss", but I didn't get to that in just a week.
The color scheme is particular. Very immersive. I thought the gameplay was pretty fun too! effective and spooky
I remember seeing something about this game before submissions and the concept hooked me immediately. Took a bit to fully understand the mechanics but once I was hooked. Awesome visuals too!!
DAAAMN, great submission. I swore the first time playing I thought the moon was a nuke exploding in the distance.
This is so cool! The visuals and sounds are awesome. Plus congratz on finding a high tech way to own me (I really was trying!)
Thanks! I played that level ages ago and forgot all about it. It must have been hiding in my brain as I made this game.
From a technical standpoint, I used SilentWolf https://silentwolf.com/features for the leaderboard system. It was easy to implement!
I was worried about letting players enter their names, so I keep the leaderboard anonymous. You learn your ranking, but don't see any names.
excellent work! one of my favorites of this jam. just overall really good
Simple but extremely well made, the aesthetics are unforgettable too, and I mean it as I saw the image when browsing submissions and went 'oh it's that game I saw being made I remember that'
Excellent vibes. One of my favorites so far - great work!
(I managed #6 on the scoreboard on my last playthrough).
