I like the premise! I couldn't quite tell if enemies were firing at me or just doing damage when they hit the player character (though I suspect this one), because sometimes they could be right on top of the player sprite and there would be no change to the health and then all of a sudden I'm down 20HP and there's an explosion of sorts, without really having any change in where the enemies were in relation to the player. I also think it could have benefitted from some variety in the player's attacks, enemies after a certain point, or some variety in the level structure, as "shoot until you die" is not really my jam, so I did find myself getting a bit bored pretty quickly, even if that's my own personal bias coming in.
I love any bullet hell so Im a little biased towards that one lol, but the idea of the goal is jut killing a bunch of evil man is a funny way to let go of the rage and anger towards this type of person, almost like a rage room. I've also encountered the issue of the enemy being defeated before even shooting, so maybe the enemies could have an invincibility for the first second after spawning to avoid dying as soon as they do. But overall, nice work!
Silly take on a bullet hell, feels a bit underwhelming to play. I really would have liked to have some pickups to change my attacks for a certain number of attacks, or a time-limited upgrade. The art assets felt very placeholder-y and bland, having more varieties of enemies and attack patterns would have been nice.
The overall gameplay was okay, if a bit tiring on the fingers and wrist.
This is definitely a fun take on a bullet hell! I like the idea that its just disgusting men in media... but you definitely missed like a billion of them lol.
In terms of gameplay this becomes very repetitive very quickly. The end goal is to "not die" and when you do, theres not really a good reason that im buulding towards to. Also the enemies can spawn on top of the player every now and then and that makes it a bit unfair. I would recommend you to create stategy patterns for the enemies so they know where to spawn and where to go!
Also it seems that if i can manage the defeat the enemies even before they start firing which makes it not so much of a bullet hell in my opinion. Maybe the enemies can have different patterns for attack too so its not just gaston that shoots on a spread pattern.
The art was a little bit lacking in my opinion as well. maybe the background can be a lot more than just a floor and the main character being a woman fighting men I think there was a lot of room to create more art that would be related to the game theme and objective.
