Well, that's one arcade I'd stay away from lol.

Pong played pretty well! I agree the paddle could use a speed bump. I felt like most of the points scored against me where from the kickoff sending the ball to one of my corners and I simply couldn't get there in time.

Enjoyed the game, very nice pong recreation

I got jump scared by pongo lol, i saw your post about the bugged ai, but i think that the only think that you need to change to actually fix is increase the player platform speed, i reached 12 points at maximum, using the corners of your platform is a pretty solid strategy.

Developer(+2)

I appreciate the honest feedback! 12 is better than my best of 10. It's unclear to me if you reached this part, but just to be certain I will tell you: there is more to this game than just the Pong Clone part. If you lose and stick around for a bit, something might happen.

The game is too hard and I think because you are too slow but cool game!

Developer(+1)

I'm starting to suspect that there may be a bug in my AI as well. What score did you get?

Submitted

no,I don't think so,Only problem i think is taht the platforms is too slow but that might be just my opinion,I got 5

Developer

I appreciate the feedback. I was trying to get you to play more of the game so you'd find it on your own, but I will just tell you: there is more to this game than just the Pong Clone part. If you lose and stick around for a while, something might happen.

I will play it again when i get in my pc

A fellow Pong game maker! Well executed. To the point of the AI being too difficult, I found that hitting the ball at a very sharp angle pretty consistently made it past it.

Developer

Thank you for playing. I've found that as well, but it seems to only work to a point. If you think you can beat it, I'd encourage you to try! I wasn't able to...

Subtlety is lost on me, lol. I like what you were going for, that's a very original and meta approach to a jam.

Nice pong clone!

Developer

Thanks! I think I may have made the AI a bit too hard. Let me know if you can beat it.

I was able to get a few points on it so I think it is possible, there are times where it feels like the paddle moves too slow to catch the ball. perhaps having a button that can toggle your paddle from a slow speed to a fast one could help. I believe this would be in line with old pong machines, i think they had a dial based controller that allowed you to move the paddle at different speeds. I like that you incorporated spin on paddle hits. It makes the game more interesting!

Developer

Hey I really appreciate the sincere feedback. I was trying to be cute about it before, but I will just tell you: there is more to this game than just the Pong Clone part. If you lose and stick around for a while, something might happen.
