Fun game, I feel like it ended too quickly though!

Developer

Thank you so much! Did you try the endless mode?

such a great presentation on this one! the only thing I'm not sure about is that after spawning there is a huge black box on screen and idk if it is a bug on my end (running it on firefox) or a design decision? mechanics wise it reminded me a bit of luigi's mansion. I really enjoy making those creeps go away with the flashlight :)

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you so much! Sadly on firefox on some computers it has that bug... but with every other browser it should work perfectly :) Check it out!

Very cute and original! Wish it would be a bit longer. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you so much!

Very short and interesting! I tried getting 100 on the second option to see if something would happen but died on 96. Still, great game!

Developer

Thank you! If you went over 100 you would have been in for a surprise!

Developer

Thank you so much! :)

Nice short game. I love the art, and music seems familiar, is it Bach or something? If yes, is using classical compositions without licensing legal? Just curious, I don't know how ownership of classical music works.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yep, it's Bach, I made an 8-bit arrangement of his music for the jam. Totally legal to use, since Bach's compositions are public domain (he's been dead long enough that copyright doesn't apply anymore)

Super cute! Great job on all the pixel art, really charming. I like how the gameplay is nice and simple, but still really fun - I also appreciate the inclusion of an easier to reach ending and the optional endless mode for people who want a challenge. :)

Developer

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!

As musician I reallyy didnt expect to hear 8bit Bach music in a game jam, but here we are!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Haha, maybe I took the retro theme too literally! :)

perfection

Thanks a ton! I'm honored! :)

I'm not sure if I won or lose - the screen became white and MC said "Mom?... Dad?...." But it's a very cute little game! Good work!

Developer(+1)

Yes that was the good ending! Alternatively if you choose not to answer you could try endless mode!

Submitted(+1)

The radio tower I used to hang out under as a kid also had strange beasts try and approach it at night, however back then I definitely wouldn't tell my parents about it.

Developer

Never tell! haha :)

Wholesome game! It's short but I enjoyed the little story.

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Hi. This is a very cute game with a charming character and monsters. It's nice that there's an ending, which is very rare in Jam. Good luck with games, it's a great start for one person ^^

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! It was a challenge, but comments like this make it all worth it!

Submitted(+1)

Very original idea, and short and sweet! Nice job.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! :)

Cool mechanics. Would be nice if it had a bit of a difficulty spike to it. It was pretty easy to beat

Developer

Thanks! Did you try choosing the endless gamemode? (by choosing not to answer the radio call) that will surely prove to be a challenge! :)

Submitted(+1)

fun! I enjoyed the monster designs quite a bit!

Developer

Thank you so much!

Submitted(+1)

definitely an original game...even though the mechanic is simple...it gets you interested in the story! well done!

Developer

Thanks! It means a lot to hear that!

Submitted(+1)

Lovely game, amazing visuals!
However the 17th century music did feel a bit too retro...

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Haha, you're probably right, might need to move the music into a slightly more recent century! ;)

Beautiful art, great music, fun/frantic gameplay. I love it! I never knew how much I needed a duck costume.

Developer

Thank you so much! Honestly, we all need a duck costume in our lives :)
