The narrative for this game was really sweet, and certain parts felt like they had a lot of polish. The minigames felt like they could’ve benefitted from more time though. I also really enjoyed the overall aesthetic! Good stuff

How does your game relate to the theme of 'Virtual Pet'?
Our game explores the idea that, in the future, virtual pets could become a common replacement for real pets because they are cheaper, easier to care for, and more accessible in a difficult world. But we also wanted to show that they could still provide real emotional companionship. Cat and Snake are not just tools for the minigames. They support the main character when he feels hopeless, give him the motivation to keep going, and help him fight for a better future. Their bond is the main focus of both the story and gameplay.
