Oh yeah I forgot to test that one :3 I'll try to fix it soon!
Also, having a -1 on the wheel and landing on it crashes the game. Another thing I noticed, haha. I love this game!!
This was a really cool! I really like the vibe and all of the visuals, audio and gameplay were really satisfying. Great submission!
I see someone was very inspired by Balatro! Haha This was a lot of fun and felt very polished. Even after playing quite a bit though, I still didn't really comprehend the forward time mechanic, because it felt so random, but maybe it was supposed to be? I understood how the scoring worked, but the forward time itself was not registering with me. I also think a buy button along with the item description would be helpful, took me a second to realize I had to click on the price tag to buy it. This was very well made and made good use of the theme. Amazing work!
Actualy, Im currently working on a new functionality similar to discards in balatro that stops the hands from landing on a number you don't want them to land on. Also, on the curent game build, I feel like the randomness balances the speed in which you can edit your clock quite nicely, however, I will lower the randomness so it feels more enjoyable and I will make it a bit harder to edit the clock, just so it keeps that nice balance I had going on, if you have any more suggestions, please tell me!
Also thanks a lot for playing, glad you liked it <3
Here is my list of things I want for a future update:
-Change the price tag system so that instead of having it appear like it does currently, its part of the description of the item so I can read AND buy the item if I want to, instead of having to click twice to buy and lose access to the description.
-In the boxes upgrade screen, I would like to be able to hover over the given selection of numbers to see what the current effect(s) on it are, instead of just memorising the colors. Also, some effects are permanent, like making the number permanently larger, and it is not conveyed at all, as initially I thought its an effect like the reroll one for example. Additionally, some upgrades don't even require you to have a number selected (the payout ones), which was also not mentioned. I thought you always had to choose a number, perhaps they could go in another screen?
-An UI speed up option would be nice, since after a while all the VFX were just too slow for how fast I was blitzing through rounds, same for buying items.
-Same way we add effects to numbers, I'd like effects for gears. Or if its too hard to balance, some way of getting a few extra slots for gears would be nice. (P.S. super nova is OP, the best thing to do is farm until you can buy it then blitz through the rounds)
-I assume the order of the gears matters, but im pretty sure this is not mentioned in the tutorial.
Also the background is funny since it goes back and forth when looping. I can't wait to see what you have in store next! Good job!
Thanks a lot for the feedback! Just wanted to mention: there's a game speed option in the settings, Ive already seen a lot of people asking for that, just wanted to clarify :3
I did in fact not see it! But it still doesn't apply to the shop as I explained. thank you though!!!
its really... about time. i play for an hour its really addictive lol . Gear hole may need some balance (i guess adding more gear can resolve this) and score requirement isnt to low ? Anyway this game is so good, great job!
Really nice incremental! Always a fan of number-go-up games. Had a bit of trouble understanding what some gears/box upgrades actually did, so I think descriptions could be a bit more clear. Or maybe just a database that lets you see examples of how scores would work in real-time. Very fun though!
this is FUNNNNNN, great take on the theme and really polished. would love to see different color themes as you progress further. i sure am spinning to win
Holy peak... The goat's here... Thanks a lot!
Man, I cannot figure out the controls on this one. I need an easy mode! It just feels too fast for me to figure it out, even just at the tutorial. My first try I failed, my second try I succeeded, but I couldn't tell you why.
Not totally sure it fits the incremental genre??? IN ANY CASE, what a great experience was!
I was, ngl, a bit skeptical because the game is kinda complicated to get. You did an amazing job with the tutorial, so I'm not really sure how it could be improved? Maybe making a forced tutorial but not so invasive? Not sure.
It took me like 6 rounds fo sheer luck winning to finally get what was going on, and it was so much fun after that!
I'd have liked an ending but that's just my personal preference:D
Loving this good job!
yo what this is def one of the coolest games out of here, i can clearly see the balatro inspirations taken here which is really cool and it's well done too, i kept playing and idk how the other guys are getting these crazy scores XD now i didn't understand how the gears that have "does x then divides by x" like idk how that exactly works and when does it work? like i mean when does it becomes helpful and stuff yk, so i didn't get them for my run, also it would've been really really cool to have a speed multiplier in the settings just like balatro where you can make the ui animations move 2x faster or even 4x faster, cuz sometimes when you get to late runs it gets a lil boring waiting for those lil moments when you for example open the clock boxes for example, but other than that a really fun game, couldn't drop it tbf :')
There's a game speed option, but yeah it doesn't apply to every little thing. Glad you like it :3
yo what how didn't i notice :') but it's cool to hear you did consider it lmao
Good job on finishing ur game!
Played it for a while before calling it a day XD
Also, is this background a rendered shader? its so pretty
Its just a noise texture. And I gradually change its settings for it to seem like it's moving.
Really addictive game with very polished visuals and some nice audio! Definitely one of my favorites of this jam :D

I got to round 100 before deciding to call it quits, since I didn't really have a goal after that.
easily one of the best so far. the main mechanic might feel very random but you can easily influence it with the upgrades. i might even say it became a bit too easy at some point, the commenter below is definitely right saying that it could use some balancing.
This game is one of my favourite games from the jam. At first I had difficulty understanding how to play, but once I got it, it was so satisfying to watch the numbers go up, I just couldn't stop.
This game is one of THE MOST addictive games I've seen. Although it can use some balancing. But hey, it's a game Jam. You don't get much time to play test to see the balance. My game kinda has the same problem too for some upgrades but yeah overall a PERFECT game
Definitely fun, i believe you managed to separate yourself enough (barely if i'm being honest) from Balatro with the implementation of "clock logic", modify numbers instead of cards, the jokers being cogs, and intead of making poker hands just roll the clock.
But the fact that you just have to click a button an rely solely on luck really bothers me, there's not really a lot of space for strategy, and that's fine, but not sure it's my kind of game.
Also, on another note, the colors were a little headachey for me, a little too bright and saturated; and the ui felt weird, seemed like you disconnected something that wasnt meant to be disconnected (by having some elements on the left and some on the right i mean). Just some things that seemed weird to me, but not neccessarily bad
Very good looking game!
I like the idea of balatro-ish. Just i dont know if can i sell the gear.
Super polished and super addicting, can see the influences but I think it also stands on its own! Really well done! This is a game ill defo continue to play and explore a bit more of post jam 100%
