Congrats on your first submission! Thanks for sharing even though you didn't get to accomplish as much as you wanted. imo, it's worth it to submit whatever you've got, because then you still get to play other people's games and see what cool stuff they came up. We're all here to learn, share, and get better!
I do like the concept and I thought the art and music was very on-theme. That carpet man, took me back to birthday parties at the bowling alley!
Congrats on making it through and releasing your first jam game. I really like the vibe you have going on with the audio and art assets that are present. Keep at it.
So far, I'm interested in the concept you have here, especially the charming art and the pretty banging background music. Somewhat unfortunate that there's little gameplay but I appreciate that this is your first game jam and you probably had to learn quite a few skills on the fly so I'll give my kudos and hopefully in future we'll see a more realised version of this concept!
Eventually you will get a rating, just not now. (Im joking, for the concept of the game, an arcade like game is great! I love the jokes of eventually making x but just not now, the music is nice great job on your first jam! and keep jamming!)
It's unfortunate that you didn't get far enough to implement a lot of what you wanted, but getting a submission in is still more than what a lot of people got done! Keep at it!
