Got lost in second level ngl haha, interesting game and above all very interesting disturbing atmosphere, I had some trouble with the battle mechanic, it's a bit weird how the hit box of the gun/chopper or enemies work, sometimes I kill them aiming at them sometimes not. Finding where to go in the level 2 was pretty hard but I managed to find something. I'd say it would need to be more responsive on the fighting especially for a game where you need to slash them all, and probably more guiding in the second level, but again I like the atmosphere you gave to it.

an interesting game!

the doodly, monochromatic artstyle nicely represented the main character's insanity and served to build the atmosphere quite well.

unfortunately, the hitboxes were a bit janky, the revolver just bugged out and refused to work at some point (most likely caused by a weapon swap during the reload), and the second level was just too big and empty. especially when the compass started just pointing towards nowhere. so, we don't know if there's a way to beat it, but if there is, we weren't able to find it.

still, it was quite an original experience, kinda reminiscent of old, spooky DOOM WADs.

Very atmospheric! Was lost in the second level for quite a while—but I am quite happy I was able to finish my 'pacifist run', haha!

What I struggled with, from a technical standpoint, uuuh... The game REALLY captures your mouse. Found no workaround to re-gain mouse control (i.e. to turn down system volume) without shutting the game down ^^'

Developer

it's like doing pacifist achievement in postal 2

I'm stuck in the first room - how do I open doors?

Controls I've figured out:
WASD - movement
Arrow up/arrow down menu navigation
Left Click - attack

F - INTERACTION

Managed to get to the second level, but the gun doesn't work even though there's bullets?

Developer

the engine itself has problems with registering them, like you can shoot them and they'll die you just need to aim closer to neck

Submitted

Oh but there's no sound or animation played when shooting say a wall? I know the knife doesn't move much but it does a least do a tiny dance :P

You need to load the gun with R before shooting, took me some time to figure it out too x)

Of everything submitted for this jam, this game's probably stuck in my mind the most. I've been lost in the second level for a while, but the atmosphere of the game is so enrapturing. Hoping I can continue to progress and see the end of this one

Developer

tbh second level was meant to make people lost, that's why i made it so big and added that labyrinth, btw i have other projects that you or other people might like

Fun! Def my favorite out of the games I've played so far!
The game gave a sorta "creepy" vibe, but not because of the whole "kill everyone" stuff... Just kinda felt wrong, the game itself !
