Theme Interpretation
The main part of the game is played on a Nokia 3310 from the year 2000. Pretty retro if you ask me

Aye another nokia game! I really like this concept. The controls were a little but unintuitive, I couldn’t figure out how to move around the room, but I managed to get to the map. Got the bad ending because I didn’t read the map right lol. Quite fun!
retro second screening
Good concept, and I like the interpretation of the theme. The controls are kind of overcomplicated and could use some trimming down.
Pretty fun concept! Pretty enjoyable game!
I like the concept a lot! Your entry fits the jam theme really well and the room was a nice setting. Being able to draw on the map was a nice touch too.
Some drawbacks: the controls felt quite buggy (playing on web, at least) and I couldn't figure out how to restart the game once I'd got to one of the endings. I also thought the music wasn't really adding anything to the experience, so I ended up muting it after a few minutes. Still a solid entry overall!
Thank you for playing :) I'm afraid the game can only be restarted by refreshing the page. The music was a late addition and was supposed to sound vaguely late 90s, early 00s College Rock
The concept is pretty fun!
The snake game confused me a little at the start. I didn't really know what to do since it felt like it was something more important than it actually was. Also, I think it's a bit uncomfortable starting the game on the pause menu.
I feel like the experience could have been a lot better with a different type of music, but it was interesting anyway.
thank you for playing :) The pause menu was my quick way to force people to read the controls :D That's probably why it felt...well forced.
Impressive!
It was really fun figuring out where Emily was! and really cool the atmosphere that you manage to create! I really enjoyed it! well job!
Absolutely immaculate rendition of snake on a nokia, and provides the ultimate nostalgic tension of do I check my texts or keep playing snake. I will return for more snake, and hopefully no witch!
not running in browser for me unfortunately :(
Noooo :( for me it works in Chrome. And also Firefox, it just takes a while to load
I thought so at first to, had to press either x or p to get the controls screen off.
