Congrats on the game.
Unfortunately, I think I’m not smart enough for your game.
One piece of feedback though, since you have an item bag, it could be a good idea to put the notes (picture) there so the player can more easily reference it. Also, some indication that that menu exists could be helpful as you don’t have any indication for the controls, and some things might not be immediately obvious.
i'm stuck at the first puzzle. there are 3 combination locks and a 8 number code. what should i do?
Thank you for your comment! The game might be a bit too hard in some places; I didn't have a lot of time for playtesting and puzzles always seem obvious to the one creating them. When I have the time, I might add some sort of hint mechanic once the voting period is over.
For the first puzzle, you need the book on the counter. Apply it to the pattern of the carpet in the other room (it's the missing pieces). The code you get will open the cabinet in the carpet room.
The two player experience was unique and cool. We had fun.
I tried the game and looks interesting. I solved the two first puzzles, but I think that the second (after the key) has some problems. Or at least I need to do some changes to solve it. After solving these two puzzles, I played the arcades, but I'm not sure about the next steps.
But quite fun and the graphics and music are very nice! Good job!
Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I will look into that second puzzle again.
When you managed to play both arcades, you basically made it. Hidden in the second arcade game are three numbers that make up the code for the final door (in the solo game both doors work the same).
