End life plan
NEXT UPDATE: UNLOCKABLE ACHIEVEMENTS!! (with an online global percent%!)
Availability: The game will remain freely downloadable and playable on web/desktop indefinitely after the jam.

Backend & Leaderboards: The global leaderboard currently runs on a dedicated Google Sheets backend, which will remain active and supported. In the event that service ever becomes deprecated, the game client will automatically fallback to local high-score saving so the core experience remains 100% playable offline.

Future Updates: Since this build is a v0.1.0 Jam Beta, we plan to release future updates based on community feedback (new mechanics, extra content, and visual polish).

Source Code & Archiving: The project source code and assets will be safely backed up in a private repository. If the project is ever officially sunset, we will make the repository public under an open-source license so the community can preserve or build upon it.

Transparency note
Transparency & Disclosures:

Code & Development: Built from scratch for this jam using HaxeFlixel and OpenFL.

Backend & Third-Party Code: The online leaderboard utilizes a custom integration with Google Apps Script (Google Sheets) for cloud score tracking, with offline local saving as a fallback.

Assets & Fonts: All visual sprites were created specifically for the project. The font used is "TBJElvaroDemo-Bold", utilized under its appropriate indie/free license.

The game has amazing graphics! However, the gameplay gets repetitive after a couple of runs. Otherwise, great work!

Great game. And nice visuals too

It's an interesting idea. My only suggestion is that the background music is a bit too noisy, so it's hard to listen to for long. I think it affects the overall feel of the game.

btw, the leaderboard system is fully functional online; all those users are real, not randomly programmed NPCs ;)
