Interesting use of the cube to travel, wishing there was more of the game to play. At one point when I was moving and the cube was turning my ship managed to jump over a wall and enter the next area over, and I couldn't get back to the path I was exploring.

Developer

When the bug happened, you could still see the ship? Were you doing something like jumping back and forth between sides? Part of why there’s so little to play is how much I time I spent making the rotation work, I thought I got all the bugs but apparently not, sorry! I really appreciate the bug report, hopefully I can deliver a real game in the future.

Yeah, the ship was still visible - as I recall I was entering from the top, and the barrier that the ship "hopped" was a jagged diagonal line from the top right down towards the bottom left. I ended up below the line. Prior to that I was exploring using the left-hand-rule doctrine to discover, to my delight, that there were more than six "faces" to the cube.

This was quite an interesting idea! A shame you lost the audio effects and win state, but I liked it nonetheless.

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you found it interesting!

Love the map rotation. Lack of soundeffects and other feedback made it so I didn't really get hooked sadly

Developer(+1)

Totally fair, I think I accidentally exported it with muted audio and didn’t get to most of the effects I had planned. Maybe this will be the jam I finally update. Thanks for playing and the honest feedback!

Would be very noice if you update it after the Jam! The idea is very noice!

The cube map felt very sleek and I enjoyed exploring the maze/finding new watering spots!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I’m glad you liked it!

As usual, I like your games :)

Impressive how much you can achieve as a one-man-show :D

Developer

Thanks, I really appreciate it! This jam was especially tough because I only let myself work at the computer for 10hrs (though it slipped to 12.5). I tried to plan out as much on literal pen and paper then blitz through at the end.

Oh man, that’s wild! haha

Huge congratulations!

That is incredibly impressive

This was really cool!
Lack of sound effects is a shame, they would help feedback of realizing when your water is full/empty. constantly having to watch the gauge to realize when to stop was a little tedious.
LOVE the cube planet and the way it/the camera rotate. Very cool and the green coming back as you progress was a nice touch.

Totally agree, I had some audio but I think I accidentally exported it permanently muted. Right after I uploaded, and played a little, I immediately thought I should have made the ship the water meter.

The cube map was definitely my favorite part!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. It feels like a cool idea, and this obviously has a long way to go but I think it’s worth pushing more.

Thanks for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed the feature I wanted to get in.
