Really cute customer sprites :). Overall I had fun playing this and trying to match the right movie to the right customer! I think there might have been some bug at some point (or maybe i misclicked?) where two customers went away after interacting with one but maybe that's intentional? Also, as a heads up I think when I fullscreen the button to get out of the movie selection screen gets cut off. After realizing this and minimizing, I was able to play through the game without issue though! Great job being able to fit in so much stuff (like upgrades, selling, bills, etc) in the span of this jam!

Impressive amount of mechanics in here! I was not expecting a store management/upgrade system of that depth. It was cool to see the improvements in the store, like how buying more shelf space actually put more shelves in the store.

It seems time became an issue, but I like the art that didn't seem rushed. Finding movie suggestions was a little too easy. I thought it might be more about reading between the lines and making a judgement call, but it often boiled down to "ok, let me see what movie has literally the same words you just said to me."

The game was still pretty fun though! Again, really impressed by what you managed to accomplish here. I think it's a great foundation for something awesome!

Hi fellow video rental store game! :D

I really liked the art in this one, and the unique variety of genres and tags a movie could have. The music was chill, and it felt like there were a number of different ways to adjust your store! I accidentally sent a customer away at the beginning because I didn't realize that "End Dialogue" referred to the interaction itself,  but you live and you learn!

Another game that tricked me into working... I enjoyed it though. It was charming.

I really like your art, the room in particular looks great but the customers and video covers are cute too. My only complaint is the UI is quite janky, it's not very clear in-game what is clickable and what that thing will do in addition to just a general messy feel to it

Nice job! I like your use of the them, I did something similar with movie rentals. I like how you added options to buy more movies and manage the store.
