Hi everyone!

I'm currently developing Aetherbound:SpiritRealms, an Action RPG Roguelite that you can play solo or in online co-op. The demo is still a work in progress, but it's playable.

I'd really appreciate any feedback on the gameplay, balance, controls, or anything else you notice. Your suggestions will help shape future updates and improve the game.

Thanks so much for your time!

Here's my game: https://solutionlabs.itch.io/aetherbound

Hello there. I downloaded it and gave it a shot. I like the direction you are headed with this. I had some fun and took some notes for you:
-on launching the game when you need to click to start you should allow clicking anywhere to load into the game not just clicking the text
-the sound effects got bugged pretty quickly for me maybe some issue with the audio queue or too many sounds at once
-I like the map but it was kind of confusing what I could click and I feel like I just got lucky clicking the next location, maybe add some text
-I think keybind options/settings or putting dash on shift might be better than the current set up, but it was not too bad and still worked with spacebar.
-when I went to purchase an item in the shop the description panel was so high I could barely read any of the description. because where my character and camera was I suppose, I was on the bottom of the screen and used my mouse on the top of the screen to see shop item and description was mostly cut off.
- when I went to quit the game after doing a level and a bit, in the main menu I clicked the settings button and nothing happened.

keep up the progress, looking forward to seeing your changes!

I'm really appreciated that you've tried my game.

I'm gonna publish the next version in weekend or might be next week. At that moment, I hope you'll give me feedback as well.

You should consider a small playable demo in the browser. I downloaded your new version.
-press enter after input name should go next.
-need text to explain what the difficulty buttons mean and change..
-you should add some music
-confirm button after changing your walker should take you to the ready screen.

When I loaded into my run with the mage character. I could not move or do anything. bugged. The timer was still going up. i was able to press esc to quit the game...

P.S. if you have a spare moment would you consider testing my game(it is project slime on my itch profile) and letting me know what you think? it would mean a lot to me. happy to come back and try if this bug gets fixed! I couldn't even play the game..

Can you tell me the Control preset mode in the Settings screen of my game is in what mode please?

Thank you for trying my slime game, I agree the art needs to be changed a lot. that is my biggest challenge. Here is my settings menu, it also appears as some text is cut off at the top and nothing appears in the bottom panel.

So when you enter the run, you press WASD and your character cannot move, right?

yeah and clicking and keyboard input only esc did anything.

Can you reinstall my game? I know it sounds a little bit stupid because this error is quite weird and I cannot replicate the error :((

Or can you do the following step: When you enter the run, press esc then press esc again. I don't know this might help but one of my friend told me that bug

Oh and I've played your Project Slime demo. I feel it quite fun. What I don't like is the current art. It's has too much color on my screen which makes my eyes feels a little bit tired. I think you should try make your art more simple.

Hi, it's been more than a day since the last time you played my game. Today I've just uploaded the new update version. If you have a free time, please retry my game. This version hasn't had music and I've haven't had time for optimizing to publish to the browser. Sorry for this inconvenience.

Hi, if you guys have played my game, please answer some questions so that I may have a better update for the following version:

- What was your first impression of the game? Did you understand what to do right away?

- Is the combat fun? Are the controls smooth? Is the pacing of the battles well-balanced?

- Is the game too easy, just right, or too hard? Which part was the most difficult?

- Were there any buttons that were hard to find? Was any information confusing?

- Are the skill effects clear? Is the music fitting?

- Is the frame rate (FPS) stable? Did you encounter any crashes or bugs?

- What did you like most about the game?

- If you could change just one thing, what would it be?

Please post your answer in the comment section of this reply.
