Very original! And very addictive too, I hope you stick with this idea if you ever make a full game!

This was a fun and simple game! Its one of those games I’d love to play on my phone while commuting. A fun time waster for when I wanna chill. It actually reminded me of Uno. Your card designs are very nice and cute, and I like the animations and sound effects. It makes it very satisfying to click on the cards.

My one suggestion to you is to add some chill music. Doesn’t have to be anything stellar, just something to fill the dead air.

Great work!!

Great little deckbuilder! The theming was fun and you taught the player how to play really effectively without any text by showing what actions you could and couldn't take. The UI felt really polished and every action was clear easy. The deckbuilding aspects were also great and it was fun trying to create an effective build by removing and adding cards and effectively using wilds. I wish there were more rare cards that impacted what you could play next, like the wild, but there was enough variety to be entertaining.

As for criticism, some of the cards looked very similar, like the paw and the paw grabbing a mouse. Making them more distinct so you can't mess them up would help the game feel smoother. I also think there should've been an indication that playing a rare card kept the color the same as the previous card since all the rare cards were black, like maybe having the rare card change color to match what was last played.

I really enjoyed this game! Simple and understandable with cute graphics, and captivating as well :)

Very enjoyable and addictive game loop. I work in Godot and did the UI in last year's game jam, so I was really pleasantly surprised by how effective the UI is here. I'll take a guess that you may have used Godot 4.7 for the card-in-hand effects...

My only criticism really is that the paw on mouse cards weren't quite different enough to distinguish from the paw by mouse cards on first glance, so I thought these were playable together - a minor blip of frustration when I found out they weren't.

Other than that, a solid submission and congratulations on entering!

Cute game! A little like a cats version of Uno, but playing against yourself. Great job!
