Very fun and unique concept, but the puzzles were fairly easy, and I feel like a lot of the mechanics were confusing and there were just a few too many elements that felt too similar to each other. I think this has a lot of potential if you ever choose to come back to this idea. Overall, it was pretty fun to play.
Very interesting entry! I liked the concept very much - the levels were really nicely done (although I have no idea how to beat level 4), and all the little extra gameplay elements added never made it feel boring. One thing that made it quite confusing in the beginning was that there was not animation when dying or finishing the level (I didn’t understand what happened in the beginning because of that), so adding a little feedback for the player where they jumped to and what that resulted in would make it perfect :D
Really solid entry! I often have a love-hate relationship with grid-based puzzle games, but this one kept me engaged without overstaying it's welcome.
As others have mentioned it would be helpful for understandability to fully animate out the moves that kill you / win rather than immediately restarting / moving to the next level.
Some elements could have been introduced in more isolation as well - for example a level with just a cloud before having a cloud holding the lava back, as I originally thought the clouds just couldn't be entered because it always killed me before realising it was actually that the cloud goes away, and therefore immediately the lava got you. I think you did this wonderfully with introducing the lava itself, but some other elements could have done with the same treatment.
On the positive as others have said I do think you introduced the new elements at a really good pace - gave the previous element enough room to breathe and be explored but things never got stale.
I also really liked that there were some dynamic elements and interactions like the lava flowing every tick, and turning water into rock. I think a lot of grid puzzlers don't have those types of things and I really liked them here.
Overall like I said really fantastic entry, you should be proud!
The puzzles are fun and challenging. I think the new elements are introduced at the right pace. Perhaps before you switch to the next level, you resolve the final move first so it's clear what happened. Other than that, great job!
Interesting little puzzle game with a really nice amount of levels and mechanics for a jam, well done!
I would have liked a bit more going on in the presentation, though, the counter probably makes more sense being directly above the grid, and a little death pause with a reset would help with clarity. These are small issues though, it's a good entry :)
Very unique idea. Some levels are so easy to understand but I'm stuck at level 4. :D
Neat game! I had a bit of trouble figuring out how the hopping mechanic worked at first, but once I understood I really started to enjoy the game! Sometimes it feels like the difficulty spikes a bit much, but overall the puzzle design is quite good!
Fun puzzle game with unique concept and great puzzles. I like all the new mechanics that were added. I had to skip level 10... couldn't figure it out.
Great level design!!
