This game gives me nostalgia on some old dungeon-crawlers, a cool game! I enjoy the sound effects used and the 3D art, but I find myself a little confused on how the combat system works with dice. I wish there was one other option during battles other than "attack" so that it doesn't feel too repetitive.
Thanks everyone commenting! 100% agree battles are too luck-dependent. I mean, if there is a single button you can press and what it does is rolling dice… can’t get much more luck-based than that!
I originally planned for more strategic combat, with multiple usable “skills”, each with their own “cap” value, but didn’t get to that point!
I really love the concept of the game and I really enjoyed it. But I feel like the game is a bit too luck-based as it makes the game quite hard to beat.
I think it was a fun concept overall, but I think the attack needed to be a little less luck-based for it to be more enjoyable
This was a fun game! The way your attack is calculated was a bit difficult to understand at first but after some playing, I started to understand how it worked. I personally think the game relies on randomness a bit too much for a turn based game. At some point you need to roll a 6 and it takes multiple turns of back and forth to finally get it. The visuals are fun and really fit the gameplay. The sound of the rolling dice also adds a really satisfying element.
