The little guy is very cute! I love the artwork uts very charming. There was however a bug where I died and than respawn with 0 health so I just die again, which happened alot. Also I think you moved too fast,  the game works best as a fun little semi challenging game rather than a speed running game. Great work though, kudos to you

Intresting concept but i found the mechanics a bit unfair, the timer made for a difficut challenge, but maybe tht's just a skill issue on my part. Anyway, great job and fun entry! :)

Fun game concept and platforming! I liked the clever time puzzles you made, it was cool that you were able to use both the fact that you had a lot of time, and also gates to make sure some puzzles weren't trivialized. Unfortunately the controls aren't anywhere so I eventually got double jumps and didn't see how to use them so I got stuck. But great idea!

Developer

I thought that double jump just being a jump mid-air was a thing most people would know, sorry about that ig

Really fun! I had a pretty fun time running around and correcting things. A great game for your first game jam!

I really like the hand-drawn art style! I spent quite a while playing before realizing the goal was to collect the gold statues. I think the game could use a bit more guidance, but the gameplay is really fun. Great job!

The game is really creative! There were some parts where we thought there might be bugs or something but nope - level design!

Despite some minor bugs (which didn’t crash or make the game stuck), the mechanics are really fun. The control is a little bit hard to pick up but i think it’s suitable for this game.

Great job on your 1st game jam! We will try to beat the whole game later since we’re currently stuck :’)

The hand drawn art was really cute. A lot of the puzzles were also fun. But I think the game could do with some more direction/hints like I didnt even realise you were meant to collect the golden statues till like no4. Also the controls are a bit janky, you could benefit from coyote time, jump buffers, etc. Also the sounds got annoying after a bit, just hearing tick after tick drove me insane

Developer

....there's already coyote time. 5 frames, I felt like it was plenty.

It might be just be because of the high movement speed that I didnt notice. The golem does run very quickly

Developer

that he do, that he do

Developer

also, the collectibles are entirely optional, and all they do is unlock an extra challenge, which is told at the end of the game. it's just, well, at the end of the game, so makes sense you wouldn't see it.

and yeah, the sound is annoying, but it's genuinely my first time giving a game sound, so... it'll get better, trust.

Wow, this game is really creative. I played it for like 20 minutes straight. Great job! I really loved the creative applications of the simple time mechanics

This is a really fun combination of a metroidvania mixed with minit. great job :)

The artwork might be simple, but the handrawn appearance holds you with charm, maybe got a little confused at times along the way, but nothing I couldn't eventually figure out. Had fun!

Cool idea, reminds me of Minit
