This game is very cool, but i just wish there was a way to speed up the timer, since most of my time was spent waiting

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing our game! On an honest note, I agree that we definitely should have used the detonator more. However, the time crunch caught up with us, and we didn’t get enough time to properly playtest and refine the levels.

I like the concept of flipping every time the timer runs out, and the idea of the gate that only opens on the last three seconds of the countdown is a cool idea, but there were a lot of times where I wished I could just control the gravity myself since the level design put an obstacle in the way and I had to wait since there were 5 seconds left on the clock until it flipped. Kinda wish the detonator panel was used more to avoid those scenarios.

Still, despite that it's a  cool looking game and you used the assets really nicely. Great job.

Developer

Thank you for playing our game! We really appreciate your feedback, and we'll definitely look into it. However, if the player could control gravity, it would defeat the purpose of the game jam theme. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

Penusbmic art is always exceptional!
So clean, one of the most polished games I've tested

Developer

Thank you for giving it a try !
We're so glad you liked it too !

wow this is so creative, and so big as well, how did you fit all this content in? did not complete the playthrough all the way because there was so much

Developer

Thank you for your kind words , we are a team of two, we literally split level designing perfectly you can actually maybe tell who made what level by the designing techniques.
Thank you for giving the game a try !!

But if you don't mind , tell me where you got confused ?

Great game. I got to level 9 but did not manage to finish it. The cube was kept stopping at the start of the map. Also, getting under the cube and respawning would eject it to a random location (mainly in the introductory level):. The artstyle is amazing and the controls feel nice.

Developer

Wow , thank you for giving it a try and reaching the final level too !
Yah we were aware for the cube stopping problem but we knew  an hour before closing the jam lol, so I tried lowering the mass and the weight as a temporary solotion which seamed to work on our end with our laptops , yes it would get stuck again but moving it around when the gravity chanes seamed to work or maybe restarting the level.
this bug needs a whole debugging session which we defenetely did not have the time for.
As for the other bug this is the first time I knew of it , I will take a look at it.
Again thanks a lot for playing our game and liking it !!

The mechanic was an interesting interpretation of the theme! And the art was beautiful. I only got a few levels in, but there were a lot of mechanics. On the whole they were all very well done, but I think some worked better than others (the enemies in particular kind of felt extraneous). I would  have liked to see a bit more blending of the mechanics in levels as well (I only completed like half of them so take that with a grain of salt). But overall, I really liked it! The flipping mechanic felt very satisfying, and the level design took good advantage of it. Great job!

Developer(+1)

We definitly went over our heads with the number of mechanics like every other game dev lol.

Noted for sure.

Glad you gave it a try and really liked it as well !!

I think the detonator button should come slightly sooner. Otherwise the concept is quite nice, it reminds me of Celeste as the previous comment also mentioned!

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! We hope you enjoyed it. As for the detonator button, we added that idea later in development, so it wasn't incorporated into the earlier level designs. Thanks for pointing it out! We'll definitely consider using it more if we continue developing the game after the jam.

I like the mechanics and LOVE the art! Movement feels great and the player character reminds me of Celeste which is always a good thing!

Developer

Glad you liked it !!
Thanks for giving it a try !

The idea is cool and unique. The only thing - sometimes the game forces you to just wait for flip - it'd be cool to have a button to skip time to the flip

Thanks for playing our game!

We introduced the detonator button in Sector 2, but we probably should have used it more throughout the game. Thanks for pointing that out! We'll definitely consider expanding its use after the game jam.
