I like it! The idea is pretty good. Time loops are definitely a good way to make use of the theme without making it boring. Also, the building is pretty charming: seeing how they sold everything in floor one, even the door, was really funny, having an entire labyrinth in there is weirdly fitting, and the people were pretty interesting (oh god the history lesson). . The art is beautiful as well, though it hurt me a bit to see differently sized pixels. Audio wise, a couple sounds were too loud, and since you're using Godot as well, and you said in another comment that this is your first time implementing sound, I'll give you advice specifically for Godot: you should channel the SFX through an audio bus and put a hard limiter effect on it. That way it will never go above that limit you set. Either way, really fun and well made. Congrats!
I MADE IT TO THE BREAK ROOM
I liked the combination of all of the different puzzles that required me to assemble a 5 minute speedrun after gathering information. Awesome game! I especially liked the twist on the 6th floor that could softlock me if I wasn't careful (and did at one point).
That one person who talks for a while was tricky to deal with, since the "advance dialog" button and the "start talking" button are the same.
This was so infuriating, in such a good way! I thought it would take me like 2 attempts but nooooo, it took me like 6 just because one guy gives a whole on history lesson in the middle of me disarming bombs and if I click to fast he starts talking to me AGAIN. And when I finally did everything and save the building the boss says " I want my sandwich" when there is only FIVE SECONDS LEFT. Incredible work, it is just perfect :]
Very fun, I liked the history lesson about cubicles. Though I think the portrayal of modern bosses here was grossly inaccurate. No way you'd get a corporate pizza party for only five minutes of work.
This was a super cool! I love the art style so much, it was such a fun vibe :)
What a great game. I am impressed! Worst thing is coming really far thinking "yes, i got this run" only to need an item you gave away earlier. Dang! haha. I don't think there was a single thing i disliked about it, and the time that it went on for was perfect.
Really fun! Loved each level and the narrative, plus how there was a little influence between them in terms of the tape. Great work (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)
this was awesome. hated that boss so much because I thought the sandwich would be optional, but I was so invested I had to go back and beat it. justice for dave!
I really liked the game, the artwork was great and so was the music. Thanks
Was actually pretty fun! I was judging it a little bit before I played it but I was actually pleasantly surprised! My biggest critique was that some areas felt a little too big just for the sake of being big (which I can understand from a gameplay perspective), and that a lot of the sounds/music were incredibly repetitive. Also, the sound for the alien technology code was horrifically loud!
Still, very fun! Nice job yall, with more time I think this game could become pretty solid!
Thanks a bunch I am glad you enjoyed it. I am sorry for the loud sounds on the alien box. First time adding sound effects myself but in the future hopefully that type of problem doesn't happen.
Nice game! The it reminds me of Yuppie Psycho
I hadn't heard of that game but it looks fun! Its also like 70 percent off so I went ahead and bought it :)
I felt like running around the floors frantically meant I couldn’t enjoy the funny dialogue but I suppose that’s the point. Different paintings for elevator floors would be helpful, or at least numbers on the wall. Fun game and I like the concept of a countdown within a countdown (like bomb timer inside a time loop). I especially love the Bossman portrait with the fingerguns.
a bit repetitive
Don’t be deceived, this is an evil game.
Spoiler warning
I should have just stayed in the time loop forever blowing up the man in the middle of the maze instead of getting that pizza party
Really cool game! Love the knowledge-based time loop.
