How does your game fit the theme?
Match & Launch puts the countdown at the center of the gameplay, every launch begins with a countdown matching phase where players prepare for launch by getting cards that build up fuel, thrust, and wind resistance. When the countdown hits zero, the rocket launches with whatever's locked in.

I would have not thought to combine spaceships and a matching game, and it was much more addictive than I expected, amazing job!
Great game! I love the space theme. The progression system really makes it feel like you are building an actual space program, and the music fits that vibe perfectly! It makes you feel like you're living through the history of aerospace transportation, you try, you fail, you fail again, and then eventually, you step on the moon! The core mechanic is super interesting, too. Sure, the card-matching concept isn't entirely new, but I can't lie, it's incredibly fun and satisfying to search for those matching pairs! Great job!
By the way, if you have some free time, I'd love for you to playtest my game as well and let me know what you think!
Cool game. Waiting for the impending doom of my launch is hilarious. But got a little further each time.
Really cool memory matching game! The icons of the cards (especially the weight) gave me a bit of confusion because I didn’t know whether it benefits your entire progress or not. But either way, the game is pretty much enjoyable. Great job!
Very fun, a great memory test haha! Its cool that each run helps your next one, and refreshes to unlock more boards to match was clever. Maybe to give the player something to do during the flight, you could tilt the rocket left/right to avoid obstacles?
The idea is really cool, and you managed to create something quite interesting for the jam. I think you could invest in making the rocket launch more contemplative, but overall, congrats! it turned out really good!
Nice combination of pairs card with a rocket launcher. I think the sequence of the rocket could be faster to better enjoy the result of your hard work with finding the pairs of cards. Great job, I've enjoyed getting to the stars (and exploding)!
Thanks for playing and the feedback! I agree with your assessment here.
Very cool.
The gameplay gets kinda repetitive after a while tho.
holy moly was this good, i loved the art, gameplay loop was good, 5/5 on everything easily, loved the outro animation too, amazing job!
Glad you enjoy it!
Wow I really enjoyed this! I played it all the way through. Super simple but really fun trying to figure out what combination of items will get you further. The pacing was great, the progression was not too fast or too slow and I always felt like I was making progress. Loved the tense moments when you're watching the fuel go down and hoping the distance will go up! Music was really enjoyable too, really gave a nice vibe to the whole experience and made it more enjoyable. Awesome stuff!
Very simple yet entertaining idea, the music and sound effects really fits the athmosphere too, congrats on pushing it to the end !
Love the little rocket too.
WP !
Congrats on reaching the moon! You might be the first one to get there XD
That made me happy that someone gets to the moon lol, Thanks for playing!
although matching card isnt my strength, i still made the rocket go vroom vroom, good game
Glad you liked it
audio was amazing but the game gameplay loop can get dry after a litte, the foundations are there and theyre great
That gameplay was cool!
Thanks
