The concept is awesome! I love that this is ready for mobile, good job on the UX for the game. You should keep working on this, because if you added an interactive tutorial to this, people would get hooked on this quickly.
Thankyou! I do really enjoy working on it, so in the near future I hope to add a lot more content and polish to the game. Glad you liked it!
Super cool concept, kind of reminds me of Balatro(in a good way) with it's own twist. The game overrall feels pretty polished for the time constraint and the art is not bad!
Thankyou very much! I was heavily inspired by Balatro, and had a lot of fun making the art, so I'm delighted you liked it
Very cool game. It would be nice if I was able to see what my deck looked like so I could play more consistently, Overall great job :D
I planned to add that, but ran out of time sadly :(, but if I continue the game that's one of the highest things on my to-do list
Super cool game. I feel like I am in the casino. Satisfying sfx aswell! Great work!
Thankyou! I usually focus less on audio, so I’m glad you liked it
Really lovely idea, and I like the overall design and feel <3 maybe could have some chill piano music in the background?
Thankyou, I was gonna add music but ran out of time. I think piano would work well. Glad you liked it!
Really cool concept! I tried really hard and got to round 9! Wines are overpowered haha, apart from that, I didn't find any other way to reach past round 3, I think adding cards is mostly against you unless you already have some items helping you out. The rng sometimes makes the same card appear multiple times in a row, making it impossible to win (fire chip for example). Overall I liked the game and loved the mechanic of using the deck remaining cards as life and as "ammunition"!
I did notice it was really important to get wines when play testing but had trouble proper balancing them with cards. It's interesting to see you got that far with mostly wines though, because I always went from red wine -> metal -> kings in a good run (Assuming I get those options). I'm glad to see it has a couple semi-viable options. I think I might change the rng to act like a proper deck in the future, rather than being closer to dice, which should make it less frustrating. Thank you for the feedback!
Also, just letting you know, most godot games exported for web also work on phone if those don't use keyboard! I thinks this game benefits from being played on a phone! Because of the nature of dragin cards around
Interesting game and pretty fun! My only gripe is the tutorial is confusing, but once I got the hang of it I liked it. Great Job!
Thankyou! I ran out of time for a proper tutorial, but I'm glad you eventually figured it out.
Great concept! I found it a bit difficult, I played through a few times and got stuck around round 5, but I could probably get further with more playtime. Good work!
Thankyou! I had a lot of trouble balancing the game given how much RNG played into it, so I'm not surprised you struggled too. Usually I had to play really hard into the high damage at the cost of chips to get past round 4-6. I'll probably come back at a later point and add more content to balance the game out a bit.
Interesting idea and really fits the theme, but I think the blank cards are bugged?
I'll have to do a lot of bug fixing after the jam. Thankyou for telling me!
