The sound based mechanic is interesting but it just doesn't work very well in execution. The tones are too similar to each other which leads to the feeling that you need to brute force the sequence and makes solving the code not very satisfying.
Interesting game with nice visuals! I liked the sound-based concept, but it was quite difficult to progress. On the other hand, that's what makes it a challenge for the player.
I had to read the other comments to figure out what I was missing. At my resolution 1920x1080 I could not read the note in the briefcase. Fun idea! I got the first one after a few tries, but pretty tricky for me. I'm pretty tone deaf. fun though!
Ah dang, I was wondering if the glare from the light on the note was too bad, I guess it was. Welp a lesson for next time! Thanks for playing and the feedback!
I could not for the life of me get the first pattern. I'm convinced im right and the game is wrong 10/10
You're definitely right, my game is bugged for you 100%
I've always wanted to make a bomb defusal game
Nothing stopping you!
VERY challenging! But I do like a challenge! Teamed up with my more musically-skilled sister, and managed a solid 3/4. We're both very stubborn though so will be coming back to finish what we left off 😤
Aha I'm glad you like it and good luck!
A sound-based puzzle sounds great! I found it hard to make out the very small differences in tone- I think a button to replay what you've entered before submitting it would be a great quality-of-life change. And maybe, at least in the earlier levels, some sort of feedback to show that you have it partially right would help? I did not make it past even the first level, although I got maddeningly close (at least to my ears). Perhaps people with musical training would find this easier. But the concept is great, and I would absolutely play more of it!
This is a good idea, I actually had trouble beating this myself and have only witnessed one of my friends beat it LOL I do agree a way to repeat what you have would be smart
It's super hard to make out the slight differences in the tones. I tried for a few minutes and couldn't get past the first pattern. Cool concept though! I like the sound based puzzle idea.
Unique idea! I thought the presentation was pretty neat. I definitely found it a little tough to make out the slight differences in the tones but that's probably just a skill issue. Congrats on making a neat game!
