How does your game fit the theme?
in my game you have to enter a portal and get the most amount of resources before the countdown runs out

Amazing concept, a zelda inspired extraction RPG. Love this! Hope you keep expanding on it. You can take this so many directions.  Building up a whole town, entering dungeons, all while keeping the same "few minutes a run" concept. Really cool!

Edit: forgot to mention, I couldn't figure out how to reach the anvil for the longest time. The hole for the doorway is a little bit too small, I kept getting blocked by walls at first and gave up trying, and then eventually managed

Love the pixel art style!

Game idea was great! Music and art woked really well, and procedural generation was well done! Great job!

Developer

thank you a lot!

Great atmosphere, as a fellow game tester saddly I got stuck around a lot of corners, also an inventory might help, but a great submission considering sucha short time

Developer

thank you! there is already an inventory, you have to press tab to open it :)

Music was top notch really felt pleasant. Procedural generation was a nice touch and I liked it. Good game

Developer

thank you for playing :D

Your game has a fun loop and progression. Going for procedural level generation is ambitious, but really cool to see that you got something working in the short time you had. Would be interesting to see this develop further, perhaps with different kinds of worlds generated on the other side of the portals?

Developer

thank you! yeah that's a great idea, i'll keep in mind

I really enjoyed the music

Developer

thank you :D

Good concept, it has a lot potential. Just some bugs that you may want to take a look at. At some point, the movement of my character stopped working. In another run, my character got stuck on top row of the map, and I couldn't go down. Overall, very solid entry, congrats!

thank you, your comment was really helpful, i'm definetly going to fix these bugs when the jam ends, thank you for pointing them out

It's such a nice take on this genre. The time limit was a bit too much though. You had really good choices for music and artwork, and good execution in such a short time. Good job!

Developer

thank you! yeah i'm probably gonna make the time limit shorter after the jam ends, many people have suggested that

Cool idea for the game and well made. Would benefit from a shorter countdown and with new content developed has a lot of potential

Developer

thank you!

Nice concept, maybe the countdown could be a little shorter, because 3 minutes is quite a lot of time, but, overall, nice game. Well done.

Developer

yeah i was thinking about that too, i'll definetly make the countdown shorter, thank you for your comment!

I really like the idea! Nice music and sfx. I found this to be fun. I think you can add more stuff to make it better. Great work! Good luck for the jam :D

Developer

thank you! you too!

Really cool concept! I liked the fit with the theme and i think it has a lot of potential. With a bit more content and polish, this could grow into a really fun game. Great job!

Developer

thank you so much!

Hey! I played World Jumper and genuinely enjoyed it. The crafting mechanic was really fun, and I liked that each world had different resources to collect. If you'd had more time, I think this could have been even better. One thing I noticed is that diagonal movement feels faster than moving in a single direction, so normalizing the movement speed would improve the controls. After a while the gameplay started to feel a bit repetitive, so adding more content or progression in the future would make it even more engaging. Overall, great job, buddy! 😊

thank you for your suggestion! yeah it feels a bit repetitive and janky because i am a beginner solo dev and i didn't have much time to make it, but i'm happy you liked it! i'll definetely smooth it out when the jam is over
