Happy to see a Linux build! The controls require some getting used to, but the speed you can reach in some places is surprisingly satisfying.
It’s probably a bit too floaty for me, and I was not sure I was going in the right direction at times. But I reached the end on my first try so your level design did work heh!
I want to show a genuine appreciation for the artwork there. It’s not the prettiest, sure, but it gets the point (and the narrative) across. I enjoyed playing this game more than other ones with prettier graphics but worse ideas. So yes, nice work! :D
Thank you. I use Linux so I made a Linux build to test it on, the art was kind of rushed because we needed the cutscenes done, but it's good enough.
I am not sure if it was me, but I couldn't jump and thus could not progress. The jump didn't feel like a jump after you reach the first ramp area. Also the side movement was crazy fast going left and right.
In testing I found that on windows the jump button is inconsistent, it worked ~1/4 times, it works right on Linux and Mac. The movement was meant to be fast but still controllable.
Sorry for the issues, I didn't have time to fix them.
