the camera not allowing you to see enemies before it's too late is a bit unfortunate in a game about going fast, but i was able to beat it,

definitely spent way too long trying to figure out where i was supposed to be going; i almost thought the game was impossible! but i managed to beat it pretty quickly after i found the first gong and so it wasn't a big deal,

the game was decent, the art and sounds work well here, sweet and simple game, nice!

It's a neat game! The combat could use some work and enemies can come from outside the screen, not giving you enough time to react. A start screen would also be nice.

I really enjoy the game! And I reached the castle haha! I think it may need a start button. If I do not start to run when the game restart, I have to wait until the next round. But it's still a lovely pixel game! I like it!

Thanks for the feedback! Yea the restart button is a great idea. I actually wanted to make the respawn snappy so it doesn’t feel slow and tedious but I didn’t think about having to wait in some cases. Glad you enjoyed it regardless.

I really enjoyed the gameplay progression in this game! I really hope you'll improve this game in the future, adding more different gameplay mechanics!

It turned out really well! Good luck!

yeah the artstyle was great and it was simple but fun

This was my first gamejam so it was dificult to make my game in time and it was worse than your game

could i know how many games you have made before this

You can use the assets I used, they are from a website I listed in the description of the game’s page. I have two other prototypes that I made myself and a group project here on itch.

And talking about time I found it really helpful to make a small document and/or a trello board to keep track of everything I wanted to do. Also prioritising essential things that the game needs in order to function and then moving on to less and less important parts (look for the MoSCoW method). Hope this helps you too.

i tried to make a vimpire survivors type of game with my friend but he couldn't help because of summer school lol so the 2 dev project became 1 dev

I was a bit confused at first, but the idea grew on me over time

Thanks for your feedback! I definitely should have added more guidance but glad you enjoyed it regardless.
