I couldn't figure out how to grab the bomb nor even how to get there with enough time to take it to barrel.
As stated in the first level, the control for that is "E" or "Return".
Thank you for checking out the game anyways.
I did try E and Return, but none of these seemed to work.
That is odd - it certainly did not appear to come up in my testing.
What browser are you using, so I can add it to my testing list for the future?
Very interesting puzzle game
Thank you for your feedback!
interesting gameplay mechanics and fun to play!
Thank you for the feedback!
For some reason the "Proceed" button didn't work for me :((
That is odd. This did not happen for me in testing, but maybe it is a browser specific issue? If it is, using one of the downloadable versions might fix it.
I'll try!
For your information, I'm using Firefox. Also unfortunately it seems like you uploaded your project files instead of the .exe export. Would you want me to open this straight from Godot?
thank you again for noticing that - it was certainly unintentional to upload the files instead of an export - that's certainly on me, though when I tested downloading the windows version, it was an exe. I am not sure what went wrong with the other version, but feel free to run it through godot if you can ignore any spaghetti code ;>
(or are you refering to the attribution markdown and console backup I packed alongside the .exe? On linux, you might need to give executables the permission to execute for them to work.)
Also, thank you for taking the time for this discussion.
This is a neat idea and even though it looks like a platformer at first, it's more like a puzzle that you need to plan out before even touching anything. I do wish the controls were maybe a little bit more forgiving, or had a bit of momentum to them, because there were a few times where I planned the solution and knew it, but couldn't get the timing right, which felt a bit frustrating after spending the time to figure out the solution. I could see the appeal and argument for me being wrong there by all means, I just personally found it frustrating to know the right path to take, but then failing to execute it perfectly, because there really is no room for mistake. One mis-input and the path is ruined.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm gonna keep it in mind for future plattformers.
I liked how the bomb counts your key presses instead of just time. It turned a simple climb into a little planning puzzle, and I still managed to waste enough moves to blow it up on my first try 😄 Fun idea!
Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad you had fun and liked the mechanic.
Really fun!! I had a mental struggle at first with the mechanic till a realized taht every move I made was one second. It was really creative. Great work dude!
Thank you for the feedback. Do you think I could have telegraphed the mechanic any better without going into boring tutorial territory?
either way, I'm glad you had fun!
Great little game. Love the robot and a really satisfying gameplay loop! :)
Thank you for your feedback! I am glad you enjoyed it!
