"Music that goes hard" is a little debatable but man what a good game. Very simple but works so well. The graphics are clean and cute, and the game itself is incredibly well-made for something made in Scratch. Well done!

Really polished and coherent visuals. To feel footballish it was strange I could choose my starting point freely (sometimes). Sound became a little repetetive but stayed playing a lot longer than expected. Nice game overall, congratz

I usually hate puzzle games cause i suck, but playing this one was so satisfying i loved the experience! Really creative interpretation of the theme as well :D

Haven't seen Scratch pop up in years! Was my first ever language way back in 07... happy memories!

Absolutely incredible puzzler, one of the most unique concepts of the jam easily; tough but fair brain-teasers with a super intuitive and friendly UI, love the small details like the little crowd movements, really adds to the immersion! It's the sort of thing I could imagine being in a printed puzzle book, or even a sort-of Wordle-esque daily website puzzle. It's such a great "drop in and play" medium!

Love Love Love it.

really fun and challenging puzzle game. Had me stuck for a while but once i figured it out I felt so smart. Also for a game made in scratch this is very good work!

TYSM!!!

Creative execution upon the game's theme, and a good puzzle game overall! Some puzzles are very difficult, and I think a difficulty curve or slower onboarding process may have helped with this. Level 1 is very difficult, and many of the levels after it are much simpler.
Regardless, this is a great puzzle game and very impressive!

One of the unique puzzle games I played in this jam so far and the fact that this is made in scratch (I assume you made this in turbowarp because of the high quality pen?) How did you even manage to create 104 levels in the span of 4 days? Nice job! I was a bit stumped at the 1st level because i thought you cant overlap arrows and was confused why level 2 was easier but then I saw the solution for level one aand i was dumbfounded. I'll play more of this after the jam ends. Added it to my collection. Nice one!

Thank you so much! I actually built a playable level generator, played a ton of the puzzles it produced, and gradually figured out what made certain boards fun, difficult, or deceptive. I used those patterns to improve the generator (while it's still not perfect yet).

Really glad you will comeback!!!

Hey i love strategy games, and the world cup spinoff made me really happy idk why. Its satisfying when you figure the puzzle out and that fact you made this on scratch makes it that much better as I remember I loved that platform!

A really well done puzzle game with cool concept and well executed theme. The puzzle is challenging enough yet it's still fun to play. Well done!

This folder contains one solution for each of the game’s 104 matches.

Try the in-game hint first. Only open this if you’re still completely stuck… like me 😭

Really great presentation! From the art-style to the UI the the sounds effects it was all stellar.

Great work!

This is really well done and easy to understand, but it was also more challenging than i expected.

I was truly impressed by your story and I totally get it. Really well done !

This isn't your typical 'Countdown' game, but it's certainly a fresh approach! The puzzles are really well-designed, striking a great balance between being accessible and challenging. The visuals and sound are simple but clean. All in all, a solid job!

very on-theme with the world cup that just finished, i like it... wondering if the red card can be any of the 11 existing dots, or is that preplanned

Developer

Haha yes, they're all preplanned! Each match's missing player position is fixed as part of the level design to create specific passing lanes.

And for Match 104, that position is locked in specifically to recreate that exact final scenario! So glad you caught the theme!

interesting interpretation it was quite challenging and the timing considering the WC finals great idea nice execution

One small suggestion would be to show the game jam logo first and then the game intro afterwards.

The concept was easy to understand, and I liked the simple art style. It stayed consistent throughout and worked really well.

Outstanding work!

Very interesting and unique interpretation of the theme. I found the game to be quite challenging.
