How does your game fit the theme?
Every flower you plant runs its own countdown: the moment it's in the ground, a "days to mature" counter starts ticking down to 0, and you watch it live on a hover overlay. But time isn't free — each plant action advances the shared clock by one day, so all your flowers are counting down in parallel and competing for that same shrinking runway. Some flowers (Rose, Lily of the Valley) let you speed up a neighbor's countdown, turning "when will this pay off" into the core tactical decision every turn. On top of that, the whole run is itself on a countdown: your energy pool only refills from harvests, and the moment you can no longer afford a single card in hand, the game ends — so you're constantly counting down your remaining plays before you're locked out, racing to fill the unlock gauge before you run dry.
