The headlight-aiming mechanic is absolute genius! The game itself feels insanely juicy - the particle effects, sounds, and drift boosts make bashing into other cars so satisfying! Controls could be a tiny bit friendlier and the camera movement could be locked, but apart from that the core game loop of destroying cars for fuel is well executed. You did an amazing job!

thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts!! Most people are saying the controls are a bit too tight so we’re going to refine that in the future! Thanks for the kind words :)

super fun mechanic. using your headlights to take aim was such a brilliant idea.
"I'm a rabbit in your headlights" in deed.
honestly, top town/isometric driving games need a comeback.
"It's like diablo, but with cars" sounds like the next big thing to me ;-)

Developer

YES!! That is what the world needs. We need more speed demons, more hack and slashers on wheels, more head-through-the-wall games

it felt very polished and juicy. I liked the fact that the only way to gain fuel is by destroying the other cars. Nice game!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for noticing the juice. This was one of our main focus points this jam :))

Sweet! Getting a boost after a drift always feels great, and making a game about it is really clever! The vibes are also great, very clean graphics and audio!

Also making the headlights turn on as the aiming is ingenious hahah, such a fun detail that also helped a lot!

Great job! :D

Hey, thanks for the great feedback! Loving the general headlight appreciation haha

Cool arcade-style game. Great work on the sound and particle effects, and on the headlights that help with aiming.
The enemy cars remind me of these little MSE-6 (I needed to ecosia that) droids from Star Wars :D
I'm definitely going to try it out next on my handheld PC. Might be a good fit for relaxing on the couch.

Cute comment!! Thank you so much for playing ;))

Cool that you noticed the headlights as help for aiming and that would be so cool to play it handheld. There are going to be some updates in future versions so keep an eye out for those ones!

Really interesting idea. Would really benefit from some tighter controls and level layouts. It's extremely difficult to line up multiple hits in one boost.

Developer(+1)

Yes, level layouts are on our plan, unfortunately we didn't have enough time to implement them yet! Thank you for playing!!

What a great little game! I immediately understood how it works, even with no tutorial. It's very intuitive. It reminds me of classic viral phone games in the best way. Nice work.

Thank you so much for the feedback! That is a great compliment :))
