Like the doomsday clock, the number of available bike on a bike sharing station, slowly going down, is the herald of imminent society collapse.

Really interesting concept!
It felt like it was a bit too challenging in its current form though. It's very difficult to know which stations may need more bikes or have too many, so I would end up letting a problem build until it ended my run without knowing what happened. The most obvious solution (to me at least) would be to have some kind of hud telling players which stations have too many/few bikes, but that could also go too far and take all the challenge out of the game.
Thank you for your feedback ! That is my plan for after the end of the jam, I will add arrows pointing at empty/full station to help guide the player, and will see how easy it make the game. I could modify the bonus/malus when a cyclist find a non-usuable station to keep up the challenge.
An other idea was to have a map of the game on a telephone screen at the bottom right of the screen, indicating the state of the stations, but I was affraid it would slow to much the player to interract with it (and I didn't really had time anyway)
The idea is funny and I like drifting between stations. But knowing which station to go to is hard and loading/deloading bikes is confusing. I am always wondering if by clicking + I add to the station or the trailer.
Thank you for your feedback, I totally agree with you. I realized after the end of the jam that it would have been less confusing to have the buttons directly at the station.
To know where to go I wanted to have arrows at the border of the screen pointing to empty/full stations but I hadn’t enough time unfortunately…
BEAM HAHA!
Figuring out what to do was confusing, and the funky controls don't help with that much either. Good concept, but the execution was a bit mid.
Thank you for the feedback, I wish I playtested earlier but I was a bit short on time. My teammate didn’t like the control either but it felt the most natural to me. I guess I was wrong ahah
Ogh.
