Dude, what an awesome game! This wave mechanic with the cards is really good. If you want to continue this project, add different cards like tarot cards.

Simple yet effective small game, good job!

I really like the artstyle and gameplay! Tho it could use some gamefeel and animations. Good job!

The game is nice and the art is very cute.

I would recommend rethinking slightly the controls.
Most players are used to move with WASD not with arrows, and while moving with WASD, Z and X are quite uncomfortable. The spacebar for jumping is fine, I would recommend J or K for shooting.

Also I'd have the enemies be a little less aggressive on the first wave and have them get more and more aggressive as the wave proceeds. This, together with the raw enemy count, can ease players into the game.

The countdown being the cards and the wave was a nice idea!

Nice game! I learned a lot,  Wish you can play mine too!

Simple but very replayable. The game is sort of solved by counting the enemies in front of you and mashing Z that many times, but as the number of enemies increases, it stops being that easy.
Controls could feel a little better, and you need more invulnerable frames after getting hurt. Health pickups would be nice too.

Nice work! I like how each wave (even wave 1) would change its enemies after I had reset. Helped make it feel fresh each re-run.
