Having the difficulty ramp up would help players get into the game. It starts pretty fast and furious. I had a hard time lasting very long. Maybe more skilled players had a better go of it. I like what is there but ease the player into it.
I think it would be worth adding an auto-reload feature for when the ammo runs out
