Where Are You, Bat-holomew?'s itch.io pageHow does your game fit the theme?
I interpreted 'count' to mean 'a person with a noble title' (though in this case the 'person' is an undead skeleton hehe). I took 'down' to mean 'sad'. The game is about Count Skelly, and he is 'down' because his pet bat (Bat-holomew) is lost. The game features an ice/sliding puzzle mechanic (inspired by how bats use echolocation to navigate) and 5 hand-crafted levels where you have to guide Bat-holomew through a grid to reach the Count and cheer him up! (to whoever's reading this: I hope you enjoy it! If this is Mark Brown, then an additional hearty thank-you for hosting this jam, I had fun!)

Nawal (it's pronounced na-waal, like 'narwhal' but without the 'r')

Hi. I'm afraid we don't allow jammers to link to other versions of the game. Your game will be dsiqualified but it will still be in the jam.
Hello, it's the exact same version as the one directly uploaded to itch.io, just with the screen resolution bug fixed (it was way too zoomed in). You can verify with the itch io build too. I'd still like to stay among the qualifiers please!
Also this particular rule wasn't mentioned anywhere on the jam page...
It is! "Please do not put links to other builds (such as "Game jam upload has a bug! Please play this one!”) in your description or comments. This will see you being disqualified from the jam."
Oh. My bad. Alright.
It's a pretty fun puzzle game, I really liked what you were going for. Ended too soon though :(
Thank you! :)
Yeah I had more levels planned but due to the time constraint I was only able to implement 5 :/
Nice puzzle game with really good background music. It could use countdown timer to add the challenge of the puzzle while also keeping with them them of the jam
Thank you, searched a long time for the perfect background music, I'm glad you liked it.
I did think of adding a timer mechanic, but I was going for a relaxed pace, which a ticking clock would directly contradict. Could be part of a future mehanic tho!
Could you try out my game and give some feedback that would be much appreciated
Good stuff! The art direction is awesome
Thank you, means a lot!
May I ask what you liked about it specifically?
