Really creative and fun! Just a little bit challenging.

The idea of the game is interesting, but everything is completely broken down by the level design. Without explaining the passage, I didn't understand what to do at all, I thought the top of the mountain is the ending. Fortunately, I decided to return to the game page and read the guide.

Also, doing a first-person platformer is not the best idea, since jumping is very uncomfortable ((

Developer

Yeah... the game did need another day of polish

Really cool idea. Game is punishing but engaging.

Such an interesting and creative gameplay! I couldn't get really far in the game because I kept dying. I think if you planned a checkpoint system or if falling only brought you to where you jumped from, I would have LOVED it!

I saw from the distance all the mountain peaks to reach and I though the progression system was really really smart, but unfortunately it is quite punishing.

If you decide to keep working on it and you make it a bit more forgiving let me know in the future! I would love to fully experience it!

Also many times I accidently thrown out an item while moving them so I think using a trash bin in the UI would make it even better!

Also a couple of bug reports in case you didn't notice them:

  • When you start out you can only move the camera by pressing downa button on the mouse, I think it could be related to the viewport not being properly focused?
  • Near the base there is a strong wind that moves you out of the storage for the items, I don't think it should be there since it seems coming through the walls

Really really great job!

Hey, thanks for the comment! You can quicksave (F5) and quickload (F9) freely to help with the difficulty. I hope you can give this another go sometime!

Oh that's great! If you wrote it somewhere I'm sorry I really hadn't see it, I will surely give it another try later!

Yeah I just saw it was in the game description my bad really!

The course is pretty tough! But it's satisfying to collect those little feathers. It's nice that there's a description for each feather you pick up, it makes the game feel poetic.

Its a nice game, and the gimmick of collecting... or I guess counting the "downs" is interesting

I had to stop though since I realize I was getting a bit motion sick, but seems calm to just search and get downs

I don't seem to be able to run it :(

Developer

Could you tell me more? Usually you can unzip it on Windows and run the GMTK_Llama executable

Never mind, I just had to restart my PC

It's really impressive that this was made in 4 days and it's a really good take on the theme

Insanely creative take on the theme. I'd bet money this is the only game that has you counting down feathers.
