How does your game fit the theme?
The game's harsh timer serves as a countdown to launch. Additionally, you're challenged to count out your passengers as you load them into the waiting bay. In the rounds where there are too many passengers in the waiting bay and you need to take some out, you're tasked with literally counting down.

Hell yea. This was really fun. Really liked the idea of some of them starting in the box completely flipping method of winning on its head! Audio and visuals are really nice as well! How many levels did you make or is it infinite?

Developer(+1)

It's infinite - kind of inspired by many Game & Watch games or many arcade games in general. I used a combination of an exponential regression curve to make the levels ramp up in speed over time, and some parameters that make the quotas slightly more forgiving as the timer becomes more demanding. Other than that though, it's a randomised system. Thanks for checking out the game!

Nice game, I like how it starts getting harder with the different types of aliens. However I am pretty sure I didnt meet the quota a few times and it still let me through. That didnt make it less fun though and I am glad I tried it out. I hope you participate next year as well!

Developer

Honestly have no clue why that glitch would happen, thanks for letting me know. This was my first finished game and I had a lot of fun with it, so I'm totally looking forward to participating next year. Thanks for checking it out!

A really fun game. Its design and idea is generally good. The only thing thats weird is there are some glitches and bugs. But other than that its awesome,

I really like the sound design and the UI. The title logo is awesome too!

To add a bit more of excitement, I'd love a way to end the countdown early and have the excess carry on to more difficult levels / shorter countdowns.

Developer

With more time I was going to add a currency system that would let you buy temporary power-ups like a time freeze or teleporter. Following that idea, I was going to have a system where you could end the timer early which would reward you with currency, making the initial rounds a bit more interesting. Thanks for checking the game out!

Really cute game! I had a glitch a few times where most/all of the aliens would spawn into the loading bay at the start of a level. But the pink guys were fun to try to nab, and I really loved the petulant animations as you picked them up!

Developer(+1)

The aliens spawning in the loading bay is actually intentional, it's designed to get you to count them all within a small area.  Sometimes the level will want 10 aliens and the bay starts with 20 inside, so you have to count them out pretty quickly as you take enough out - that was the idea anyway. Thanks for checking out the game!
